Entry Forms and Information
The
Putnam County Fair has tried to keep up with
the times and will go with online entry forms in 2007
for our junior exhibitors. We hope that this will make entering your exhibits
for our fair a simple process. Here
is some additional information for you to know:
1) Beginning this year,
out-of-county (non Putnam County residents) 4-H and FFA exhibitors
will not
have to pay to get in the gate to show their animals. However,
this only applies to junior exhibitors and not
to their parents or leaders or drivers.
2) Putnam County Fair
4-H and FFA livestock shows are generally open to surrounding
counties in Missouri
(Adair, Mercer, Schuyler and Sullivan). The exceptions to that rule are
beef, sheep and swine which are open to
any county's 4-H and FFA members that reside in a county whose
show is open to us (Grundy, Harrison and
Daviess at a minimum) and the cat show which is open to Putnam
County only at this time!
3) 4-H and FFA non-livestock exhibits and the livestock
sale are open to Putnam County members only!
4) Out-of-county exhibitors do pay a $5 per
species ($5 for beef, $5 for horse, $10 for both sheep and beef)
stall
fee. There is also a $5 per head late entry fee after the August 8th
date so keep that in mind!
5) The entry forms are below in a PDF file
format that you can print and fill out.
We are interested in your comments about how this works
for you and if this is an easier way to do this.
