Putnam County Fair  
- Other shows and  Entertainment Pictures

            In addition to our musical entertainment, there are many other shows and
types of entertainment that happen at our fair. Some of these are highlighted below.
These can range from the queen contest, clowns, a demolition derby to some of 
our local talent. We're certain that the Putnam County Fair will have something 
that will please and entertain you.

Above: The Putnam County Fair's  Amateur Talent Show (now held Saturday morning) continues a fair tradition here that goes  back into the 1940's.  

Above: You never know who you'll run into at the fair. Here Vincenzo, a talented grounds entertainer, juggles for the crowd to enjoy. 

Below: The Demolition Derby, held on Wednesday evening, has become one of our biggest crowd pleasers and events at the Fair.  

Below: The Ranch Rodeo, held the 1st night of the fair, has become a popular event in a short time. It's a lot of fun tio watch as well.   

 

Above: The Putnam County Fair has outdoor educational displays whenever possible. The Lewis & Clark one here honors Missouri's past history.   

Above: The Mobile Fish Aquarium from the Missouri Department of Conservation was a huge hit with kids and kids at heart at the fair in 2004.

Above: The Putnam County School Band performs one night of the fair as well. This  very talented 
young group helps add to our fair immensely.  

Above: One of our local school groups entertains the crowd on an afternoon with their rendition of Tom Sawyer in a musical version.
Below: If games are more your style, there's Lion's Bingo played every night of the fair. It's at the North Shelter and is close to the food stand as well. 

Below: The Character Puppets performed at the fair in 2003. They  provided good family entertainment (something we strive for) as well as teaching values.
