    We want to make your visit and stay at the Putnam County Fair to be as
enjoyable as possible. Below is information on our most frequently asked
questions. Please come back and visit us again!!

Putnam County Fair - Season Tickets

Season Ticket purchased Prior to 8/27/07 - $25.00

Season Ticket purchased After 8/27/07 - $30.00

   
Tickets (before or during fair) - Children 12 and Under - FREE
 

Putnam County Fair - Daily Tickets

TUES  - THURS Admission & Shows - $10.00

FRI  or SAT Admission and Shows - $12.00
(Remember, tickets are needed for those over 12 only!!!)

Tickets will also be available from local (Putnam  & Adair County in MO, Appanoose County in IA)
businesses around the 1st of July (from some businesses) and around the 1st of August.

Putnam County Fair - Our Ticket Policy

It is the policy of the Putnam County Fair that everyone purchases a ticket to
come into the fairgrounds. That includes all of our volunteers, event participants
(with the exception of 4-H and FFA exhibitors), and vendors. This allows us to
keep our prices down below many other fairs. Your ticket gets you into
all events, including our entertainment.
Thank You for your adherence to this policy!!

            Parking Information: There is plenty of available parking at the Putnam County Fair. Our main parking area is on the north end of the grounds (look at the fairgrounds map). Come in on Hwy. 5 North to the northernmost gate and fair personnel will help you from there. You may also park on the streets east of the fairgrounds off of the main highway if you wish.
         Handicapped Parking: If you are handicapped and do not wish to get out of your car to see the show, we have a special handicapped parking sticker that we can provide you with. Contact Paul Rouse at (660) 947-3900 if you need one of these. Please limit these to only those of you who really need this (look at the shuttle service information below)!
    Shuttle Service: The fair provides 2 shuttles as a normal part of the fair. They operate from the north parking lot to the fairgrounds just south. They are handicapped and wheelchair accessible for your convenience. They will operate from 1:00 p.m. to after the evening entertainment is over (around 10:00 p.m. normally). Campgrounds

There is a campground (RV's, trailers) at the Putnam County Fair. It can accommodate up to 100 campers. It is filled on a "first come, first serve" basis and is generally full by the start of the fair. It is run and maintained by the Unionville Park Board. Present fees are: 
$15 per day full hook-up
$12 per day partial hook-up

(full hook-up includes elec., water, cable TV, and sewer. Partial includes all but sewer!)

The Cottage

"Your home away from home".  It is completely furnished with all the comforts of home, including a washer/dryer,
with the exception of food (although there is coffee, tea
and popcorn).  In addition there is a patio complete
with patio furniture and a relaxing front porch for guests
to enjoy.
 
"The Cottage" is a nightly rental, however, weekly rates
are available.

The Square View Inn

The Square View Inn is a set of 5 furnished apartments on Unionville's historic square. All units fully furnished kitchens (you bring the food), cable TV, free laundry in the room, coffee and air conditioning. Contact Bryce or Shannon Stanley for reservations or for more information.

These are the accommodations available here in Unionville. The Outback (660) 7011 is located east of town 5 miles.  These are clean, modest, rural motels (do not expect the Plaza)! There are also several Motels located within 50 miles of here as well. These are generally busy the week of the fair so make your reservations ahead of time!!
