Vendors & Exhibitors

For Vendors

1. The Putnam County Fair takes pride in the quality of everything that is presented during our fair. Because of this, all vendors as well as other attractions, must be pre-approved before coming into the fairgrounds.

2. Food and drink vendors will be screened by the fair board or their designee. Due to the nature of our fair, these vendors must request approval by specific item and at least 45 days prior to the fair dates.

3. Ride, game or other attraction vendors must be pre-approved by the fair board and carnival. Because of this, these vendors must request approval by at least 60 days prior to the fair dates.

4. All vendors will provide the fair board with specific information about their goods or services. This would include the cost to the fair, type of item orattraction, percentage of the take or income the fair will get, and other pertinent facts.

5. The Putnam County Fair reserves the right to require liability insurance for its vendors in addition to its own policy if the fair board feels it is necessary.

6. Specific policies and procedures of the board are available in printed form. Contact the Putnam County Extension Office (660-947-2705) if you would like copies of these.

For Exhibitors

1. The Putnam County Fair allows (and encourages) non-profit and profit-making businesses and organizations to participate at our fair.

2. We have exhibit space for businesses and organizations in a metal building, tent or outside of these. All of this is in a prominent area of the fairgrounds.

3. There is a charge of $5 per running foot. (A 10-foot space would cost $50, for example.) When space is available, you can request the area where you'd like to be -- building, tent or outside.

4. This space is rented on a "first come, first served" basis with exhibitors from previous years getting the first chance to have booth space.

5. The Putnam County Fair runs Tuesday through Saturday. Exhibits are expected to remain in place at the fair for the entire week!

6. Non-profit businesses and politicians are also encouraged to have an exhibit as long as they pay as well. Raffles and other non-fair-related items are not allowed!

7. Complete copies of our policies and procedures are available at the Extension Office (660-947-2705) if you have further questions.
