Constructed of brick with stone facing at a cost of $50,000, the Scotland County Courthouse was finished and dedicated October 22, 1907. The Capitol Building of Scotland County, Missouri, stands magnificently in the center of the Square of the City of Memphis where it houses the Courtrooms and the administrative offices of the County.
