Lancaster Country Club
Golf Course located right off of highway 63 just south  of Lancaster and the 63 north, 202 west, and 136 east highway intersections. The club house is a comfortable spot to rest, quench your thirst, and check out the latest events coming up.  Greens fees are $12 during the week and $15 on the weekend, Monday Senior Citizens can golf and have lunch, fees are $10 for members $12 for non-members.  Men's league Tuesday nights, Women's league Thursday nights, Tue, Wed,Thurs Special $20 all day includes cart.

3D McKenzie Archery Course
Can be found 3 miles east of Queen City off route O at the Herefordale Ranch hunting cabins.   Shoot times 8am-dusk, registration on site on day of shoot, shoot fees... $10 Adult, $5 Junior, $25 Family,  Jr's are 14 and under accompanied by an adult.  Shoot fee includes 30 targets. The three Classes would be  for Men , Women & Junior's  - Open Unlimited, Open Freestyle Release, Traditional Long bow recurve,  Bowhunter  Compound Fingers

Bosco's Gun Club
Bosco's Gun Club located off of Highway 63 to the east  behind Amoco Truck stop just south of the 63 and 136 Highway intersection.  Featured there are trap shoots. pistol ranges, catfish lakes, camping area, and golf driving range. ATA Registered Target trapshoots are held thru October.  
 
Schuyler County's Fishing Spots
There are city lakes, the Chartion River, local ponds check the townships for more local spots. A Youth Fishing Derby has been set for the second year more details will be posted as we learn them.
Schuyler County's Baseball & Softball fields
The local youth love their ball games.  And they play with enthusiasm.  Boys and girls alike will have many games going throughout the summer.  Sounds like we had some really good games this season.  That has to do with the great players on each team, maybe a little bit of credit can go to the coaches.  I hope alot of you went out and cheered the kids on.  Looking forward to next year, hope to see you there!
 
 
Coffey Ropers
The Downing area hosts an arena located Highway 136 east into town then right onto route V , 1 1/2 blocks on the left.  Events consists of Team roping and Barrel racing, two of the events scheduled will end with awarding of a New Saddle.

66 Wrangler Saddle Club
The Wranglers hosts their events in Queen City at the Saddle Club Grounds just off of Highway 63.  Horse Shows, Trail RIdes and Campouts are some of the events scheduled.  The following dates for events are: Campout & trail ride Sept 25th & 26th, Poker Rally Oct 3rd 2 pm.

113th Old Settlers Reunion in 2000
Old fashion fun at an old fashion price. This yearly town celebration takes place in Lancaster on the town square. Bring your lawn chair, sit in front of the bandstand and enjoy each evenings entertainment.  A local talent show, gospel music, featured talent, baby show and the crowning of the queen just to name a few. There are game booths, bingo, a food stand, and prize drawings every night.  Arts and Crafts Expo  and the Area Youth's Art Expo competition .  Just to name a few of the exciting happenings. Plan to to join us next August.
 
       
Downing Apprecation Days
Downing welcomes everyone !  September is the month for this yearly town event.
Come join in, this is only the highlights.   Free Beef BBQ, Drawings for $ and great prizes
