| Schuyler County Library is part of the Northeast Missouri Library Service, that serves Clark, Knox, and Lewis Counties as well, located on the west side of the Lancaster square in the old Schuyler County Bank building. | Romances, Elementary, Young Adults, Westerns, Adult Non-Fiction, Science Fiction, Juvenile. Some are available in large print. Many reference materials. |
| Magazines from Time to Seventeen may be checked out for a week at a time. |
| Audio books for all ages can be checked out for 2 to 4 weeks at a time. |
| Videos can be checked out overnight for just 50 cents. |
| There is a wide selection of genealogy material, which includes county newspapers dating from 1866 to 1996, many books containing genealogy records, and microfilm files. |
| The library has 2 computer systems with internet available for public use. |

| If you wish to have some material that is not available for checking out they will be glad to make a copy for you. Just ask ! |
