CHURCH POLICIES CONCERNING WEDDINGS AND
RECEPTIONS
WEDDINGS
-
A deposit of $100.00 is required for
use of the church building for weddings. The deposit will be
returned when the building is cleaned, the furniture is returned to its
proper place, and the parking lot is clean. An additional $35
non-refundable custodial fee is also required.

Confirmation of wedding dates will not
be made more than 90 days in advance.

No open flame candles or candle stands
will be allowed on the carpeted areas. Electric or battery powered
candles are acceptable. Unity candles will be allowed if they are on a
large covered table so that the table cannot be damaged.

No furniture in the auditorium will be
moved for the purpose of having a wedding, except for the communion
table, pulpit, and elder's chairs. Any decorations or changes in
the auditorium will be only by permission of the elders. No tacks,
nails or tape that will cause damage are to be used on pews, walls or
furniture.

If the sound system is to be used, you
will need to make arrangements with one of the people familiar with it.

TIME
OF WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS

All weddings and receptions on
Saturday and Sunday must be over by 4:30 PM.

No receptions on Saturday or Sunday
nights, or at any time that would interfere with any other service.

No weddings will be conducted in this
church unless those involved are affiliated with this church or unless
one of our Ministers is performing the ceremony.
RECEPTIONS
-
Limited decorations in the fellowship
hall.

No refreshments to be taken into the
auditorium or class rooms.

No rice or birdseed throwing in the
church building.

No
smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages on church property.

Responsibility for cleaning the church
building will be up to the ones using it! It must be cleaned
immediately after use and will be left in a clean orderly manner.
Carpet must be swept, floors dust mopped and furniture replaced.
Any debris outdoors must be swept up (rice, birdseed, paper, etc.).
